Join us for a summer evening of tasty bites representing the diverse restaurants of Central 14th Street NW − a cultural celebration with neighbors accompanied by music, art, and more!
Rebar, a public art and design studio, is teaming up with neighborhood business associations, the DC Office of Planning (DCOP), local restaurants, and artists to produce a progressive dinner and culture crawl down 14th Street NW. The crawl will make stops at several locations for a sampling of local flavor and cool refreshments.
This event is part of a series of activities taking place along upper 14th Street, funded by a DCOP ArtPlace grant. As proposed in the Central 14th Small Area Plan, slated for Council approval this fall, existing businesses along 14th Street offer a diversity of uses that should be marketed to visitors and neighbors. This event, open to the public, is a intimate neighborhood tour.
Revenue from event ticket sales will go to support local business development and seed economic initiatives.
