Event description

Description

You are invited to join the Creating Realities Community for a day retreat on Saturday January 20th from 10:30-4pm. Together we will start the year off with some gentle, restorative yoga to assist us to tune into our hearts and connect with our deeper intentions for the year ahead. We will then come together in a Collective Wisdom Circle and engage in other creative activities to ground in our inner knowing, and begin the unfolding and manifesting of our intentions for 2018. A nourishing vegetarian meal will be provided to warm our bodies and support us to thrive in the year ahead!

This gathering will be hosted by Angela Nardozi and Laura Severinac with support from Sarit Adri (offering yoga) and Helena Frank (space clearing/creation) and Danny Cidade (behind the scenes, creating culinary magic). Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for stretching and bring a yoga mat, your journal and a small object that feels meaningful to place in the centre of the room.

More information about Collective Wisdom Circles

We aknowledge that we carry on the work of offering Collective Wisdom Circles in a method taught and inspired by (the late) Tammy Neilson. Sitting in circle is of course not a new tradition. It is an ancient way of coming together to listen deeply and be heard and seen, born from indigenous traditions across the globe. Tammy began hosting circles in community when she saw a need for intentional spaces and processes to gather people to connect in deep and authentic dialogue. Calling on the ancient practice of circles, she (and others) began hosting Collective Wisdom Circle gatherings to invite a pause, to deeply listen and witness our own wisdom and to share in the power of collective wisdom that emerges within community circles. Later, she trained and mentored others to hold space in this way. As a community we move forward greatful to carry on this work.

The following speaks to our collective intention for continuing the offering of Collective Wisdom Circles

  • To create supportive gatherings which invite the emergence of individual and collective wisdom

  • To nurture growth, transformation and resiliency through practices that welcome vulnerability and encourage authentic sharing and deep listening

  • To offer an experiential and co-created journey where we witness and hold space for each other’s stories and the wisdom they contain

  • To build and nurture a sense of community, collaboration and support
