Opening the Conversation around Alcohol Use in a Veterinary Setting.
Overview
This free, online webinar will our share recent findings from a study looking into the factors that influence alcohol use in a veterinary setting and how it can impact mental health. We also consider how we can support reduced drinking and help-seeking.

We will be joined by a panel of researchers and vets, with time for discussion and questions from attendees. We hope to bring the research alive by discussing how this can potentially impact us all in veterinary practice and what we can do to provide non-judgemental support to ourselves and our colleagues.
The study was funded by the RCVS Mind Matters Initiative 2024 Impact grant. This event is open to all those who work in a veterinary setting (veterinarians, vet nurses, practice managers, veterinary care assistants, veterinary receptionists and other veterinary roles) as well as those interested in veterinary mental health more broadly.
