Opening night of the Portland Film Festival
We're closing down NW 21st to celebrate independent film in Portland. And we've hired Pendulum, a local aerial acrobat company to perform on the streets before and after the show. In addition, we'll have a few DJs on standby to kick off the celebration. Including DJ Rescue (Zia from the Dandy Warhols).
- Bless You (Narrative Short) - how God created the world. And Godzilla.
- Pas de Restes (Narrative Short) - a privileged family learns not to bite off more than they can chew. (Director Q&A)
- Without a Net (Documentary Feature) - young performers in a Rio de Janeiro ghetto search for life apart from the drug-related violence around them. (Director Q&A)
After-party (across the street at Gypsy):
Network with the cast and crew of the films and attending directors from around the globe. Free appetizers and a great drink selection to help celebrate independent film in Portland.
VIP Section for VIP passholders. Music by DJ AM Gold and Pinscape.
