The PBG is excited to welcome the community into the new Provincetown Pride Center at 115 Bradford Street on Thursday, June 1st!

We are thrilled to make this new public space available to showcase Provincetown's history and culture, and it all kicks off with a very special exhibition entitled 'Flag In The Map' that the PBG is presenting in partnership with our friends at the Gilbert Baker Foundation.

The Levi's team will have their special Airstream Custom Tailor Shop set-up on site at 115 Bradford Street, and invitees are encouraged to bring any gear that you might like to have customized for Pride.

Beverages from our friends at Tito's and AHA! will be available during the event, and the we will feature brief remarks and a dedication of the space at 6pm.

Thank you to our friends at Seamen's Bank, Levi's, Gilead, Tito's and AHA! for their support of the Provincetown Pride Center and our first exhibition in the space.

About the Exhibition

Flag in the Map is a features a growing collection of photographs and stories that reaffirms the universal power of the Rainbow Flag to inspire LGBTQ+ people – especially in countries where their everyday existence is threatened.

A collaboration between the Gilbert Baker Foundation and ReportOUT, Flag in the Map was launched in October 2020. The two organizations put out an open call across the world, asking for submissions of photos of people flying their Pride Flags. The resulting images came in from scores of countries and were curated for an emotionally powerful book, copies of which will be available for purchase during the exhibition.
