OpenGov Hub DevCliches Happy Hour
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
January 23rd, 2013
1889 F Street NW, 2nd Floor, Washington DC, 20006
Have you seen the grassroots #DevCliches working group that self-organized on Twitter last Friday, inspired by the Wall of Cliches? The OpenGov Hub seeks to scale this emergent community of practice to facilitate transformative innovation through an inclusive sensitization training.
On Wednesday, January 23, we will collaborate with international development stakeholders and utilize indigenous libations to create a safe space where honest dialogue breaks through established norms and liberates innovation from existing power structures.
- Do spoken word poetry - bonus points if they are direct quotes
- Pitch a crazy project idea - puppies + children + mobile phones!
- Go sleek and do PowerPoint Zen - one #DevCliches per slide
- Go big or go home - like this or this
Remember: Prizes for those who present!
Audience participation is not just encouraged - it's required! We will have #DevCliches Bingo to see who can follow along the best.
Thanks and see you on Wednesday!
