The Coalition Government has announced ambitious plans to restructure public spending on museums, to promote a culture of innovation and philanthropy and to support the principle of a Big Society.
Part of a series of OpenCulture Q&A sessions with leading UK and international figures, this event will give the sector the chance to hear from Culture Minister Ed Vaizey and to ask him questions about the impact of the Government's Spending Review on museums.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 15th December at the Institute of Contemporary Arts on the Mall in London between 15.00 and 17.00. Book online at http://openculture.eventbrite.com.
The event is organised by the Collections Trust. CEO Nick Poole will be onstage, putting the questions to the Minister. Delegates attending the event, as well as the wider sector, will have an opportunity to put their questions both from the floor and in advance via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or twitter at @collectiontrust.
