Open Source Software for Fusion Energy (OSSFE) conference 2025

Following on from the inaugural OSSFE conference in 2025 we are delighted to announce the in person OSSFE 2026 conference at the Munich Urban Colab on March 10th - 12th 2026.

The Open Source Software for Fusion Energy (OSSFE) Conference is a first-of-its-kind event dedicated to the development, use, and advancement of open-source software in the fusion energy community. Whether you’re an experienced researcher, developer, or new to the field, OSSFE offers a collaborative platform to share insights, tools, and innovations that push the boundaries of fusion energy research.

• Tuesday the 10th of March - opening talks, plenary talks, oral presentations, poster presentation, coffe/snack breaks and poster session.
• Wednesday the 11th of March - plenary talks, oral presentations, poster presentation, poster session, closing presentation and awards 🎉.
• Thursday the 12th of March - optional half day, seperate add on ticket needed attendance tour and hackathon at Proxima Fusion Head Quarters, limited to 30 people.
