Description
BOND AND BEYOND
Friday, March 11, 2016 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
H-E-B Performance Hall at the Tobin Center
Michael Krajewski, conductor | Debbie Gravitte, vocalist
Michael Krajewski returns to San Antonio and brings his wit and sense of humor to The Tobin Center for a concert celebrating the world’s most famous spy – Bond, James Bond. The program will include all of the iconic music you have grown to love from Goldfinger, From Russia With Love, Diamonds Are Forever and Skyfall, plus tributes to other spies and detectives from around the world, including music from The Pink Panther, Austin Powers and Dick Tracy.
The San Antonio Symphony invites school groups of middle, high school and college age to attend free-admission “Open Rehearsals” of the San Antonio Symphony in the new H-E-B Performance Hall at the Tobin Center. Students will observe how a professional ensemble rehearses while being exposed to masterpieces of our Classics Series repertoire and world-class guest artists. Students are also given the unique opportunity to interact with Music Director Sebastian Lang-Lessing or a guest artist in a post-rehearsal Q&A session.
