Description

Open Outcry Brewing Prohibition Party

October 28, 1919: Congress passes the Volstead Act, providing enforcement for the 18th amendment to the US constitution, also referred to as the Prohibition Amendment. Since then, Western has been dry.

Join us on October 28th at Open Outcry Brewing Company for a Prohibition themed party in recognition of the last day before Western went dry. The party will feature a 1920's themed costume contest, specialty cocktails influenced by the era, and an exclusive beer release - a dry hopped version of our Open Interest IPA.

No cover. 6:00-12:00 AM. 21+

FAQ

What do I win in the costume contest?

Good question! First place winner of the costume contest receives $25 to Open Outcry Brewing Company. Second place winner receives an Open Outcry t-shirt or baseball hat. Third, fourth AND fifth receive a free pint - because no one likes losing, but we reward trying!

Is this Halloween weekend?

Yes it is! We decided to take advantage of the date, while also encouraging individuals to get as creative as they want with the theme of the party. We think you will be just as relieved as we are that there's an option to dress up, and that there's a theme to narrow it down. That's why themed parties were created.

We look forward to celebrating with you!
