Open Mic Night

Open Mic Night @ Love Shack, Bethnal Green

Thursday 8th January 2026, 7:00pm to 9:30pm

A cosy, playful night of comedy, music, poetry, drag, improv, burlesque, storytelling, clowning, movement and whatever magic you want to bring. Whether you’re performing or watching, this is a night for expression, connection and community.

Performers

• First 10 performers to sign up via the Google Form get a free 5-minute slot
• After that, £3 Performer Tickets guarantee your place
• Wildcard draw: Pay £3–£5 on the night and enter for the chance to perform spontaneously.
• Performers must arrive by 7:15pm to secure their slot
• All performances are 5 minutes max and the audience is genuinely listening and supportive

Audience Tickets

• £7 Standard Ticket
• £10 Pay-it-Forward — helps keep the night running and supports future artists
• £12 Bring-a-Friend (admits 2) — limited to 5 pairs
  Donations are welcome online or on the night — your support genuinely helps us keep this event going.

The ticket system helps cover the venue hire and keeps this a beautiful space for artists to share their work.

Times

• 7:00pm — Doors open
  (Arrive, get cosy, grab food/drinks, settle in)
• 7:30pm — Show begins
  (Performers: please arrive by 7:15 so we can check you in and build the running order)
