Event description

Please join Chris Freeland, Director of Open Libraries, from Internet Archive for an overview of the Open Libraries project. Attendees will learn how books come into the Internet Archive from library and bookseller donations, how they are scanned in our scanning centers, how they are made available to readers all over the world via controlled digital lending, and how they are connected to Wikipedia and other resources. Libraries will also learn how they can leverage the Open Libraries project to help provide access to these books, as well as how Open Libraries can be used to make decisions about physical collections.
