Event description

Description

Miranda Madison Presents:

A family-friendly concert honoring Ella Fitzgerald, The First Lady of Jazz. Miranda will be joined by local guest musicians showcasing some of Ella's most recognized collaborations.

This event is free to the public and serves as an open house to introduce "The House That Jazz Built,"
an organization that will aim to enrich our local community of musicians and their audience. Our mission is to create a platform for jazz enthusiasts to collaborate, learn, teach, produce, and help eachother while providing a stage for local musicians (not exclusive to jazz) to be showcased within our city. Please join me at our wonderful public library where you can learn more about this up and coming organization and how you can contribute to the cause.

The concert will be immediately followed by a jazz workshop open to anyone aspiring to learn more about jazz theory & methods. Donations of any amount are appreciated to help further this cause and to support your local music community.
