Empower Youth. Nourish Community.

Urban Roots uses food and farming to transform the lives of young people and inspire, engage, and nourish the community. On our 3.5 acre farm in East Austin, we provide paid internships to youth ages 14 to 23. Together with more than 1,500 volunteers, we grow more than 25,000 pounds of fresh produce each year -- 40% of which is donated back to the community through local hunger relief partners.
