Description
The Open Arts & Music Festival is free, all-ages, and open to the public, with live music featuring Allah-Las, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Jesse Jo Stark, La Chamba, Thumpasaurus, The Altons, and a live DJ set. The festival is FREE and all ages, and also includes an arts market, a craft beer garden, temporary public art installations, and activities for kids.
RSVP in advance and visit the Glendale Arts Info booth on 9/15 for free swag while supplies last!
The Beer Garden includes: Frogtown Brewery, Simmzys Restaurant and Brewery, Pacific Plate Brewery, and Brewyard Beer Company, and more are slated to attend!
The arts market features arts makers of all discplines, who will enchant festival-goers with workshops and demonstrations in their craft. Diverse arts such as graphic design, metal working, and print making are represented.
Step into a Virtual Reality booth in StandardVision's Mood Machine, created in collaboration with NYC-based digital artist Matthew Keff and sound design by Lewis Cancut. Other public arts installations include live painting, crosswalk decorating, and other arts activities.
The kid zone features a temporary climbing wall, crafting activites for the littles, theatre workshops for ages 4-12, a DJ lab for teens, face painting by professional makeup artists, robot engineering for pre-teens, stories, music, and more!
