opaque Launch Mixer Event

opaque collective is officially launching! opaque is an artist collective and incubator aimed at gathering Chicago-based, Black imagemakers. opaque will function as both in-person and virtual meeting space catering to supporting and uplifting artists aged 18-35 in the Chicago community. opaque is a space where artists can come to receive constructive critique on their work, learn new skills, and receive mentorship from guests and peers.

This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to mingle with artists across the city, learn more about the collective, and join a collaborative and vibrant community. We will be serving light refreshments and bites.

Join us for an exciting evening at Fourtunehouse Art Center at 4410 S Cottage Grove, Chicago, IL, 60653 from 5 PM - 8 PM. We hope to see you there!
