Come celebrate the City of Opa-locka's 91st Anniversary with a fun, family-friendly, interactive ART NIGHT! We'll have lots of arts activities going on:
*Toast to Art: Paint Night at The ARC: Enjoy our May/Mother's Day edition of our monthly #PaintNight led by local artist Chris Austin! Nopainting experience is necessary as Chris will lead you to unleash your inner artist to create a unique image that you can take home. Space is limited so reserve your canvas today! *Inside|Out: Opa-locka Closing Reception & Tours: #PAMMInsideOut brings high quality reproductions of works from the Perez Art Museum Miami's (PAMM) permanent collection to communities throughout Miami-Dade County. 19 works are installed throughout Opa-locka - don't miss your last chance to get a guided tour by PAMM and participate in exciting art-making activities! *Afro-Luminosity Exhibition Closing Reception: Curated by Ludlow Bailey, Afro-Luminosity is part of The ARC's #METASeries. The exhibition features artists from the African Diaspora who capture the soul and quintessence of black creative genius.
