Event Details

Every year, SAGA hosts candidates for their final interview, called the Onsite Interview, in New York City.

These interviews provide the opportunity for candidates to learn about the SAGA Fellows program and our organizational history, to hear experiences from current SAGA Fellows, and to deliver a brief lesson to some of our amazing students in their classroom. We need our Alumni to make the process complete.

Please join us as we meet and engage with our candidates during their process on any one of the following Saturdays this year. You don't have to prepare anything, just come ready to enjoy a light breakfast, discuss your service year, your trajectory post service, and catch up.

Alumni will participate in the beginning introduction and Q&A session and stay to observe, if possible. We are looking forward to creating more shared experiences, insight, and wisdom as we select the next cohort of SAGA Fellows!

SAGA Innovations

SAGA Innovations is dedicated to transforming American public education and the lives of at-risk students by giving them the skills, the attention and the self-esteem they need to succeed. SAGA drives the expansion of the nationally recognized innovation of high-dosage, intensive daily tutoring, where tutoring is a part of the regular school day for students as a scheduled class period. We partner with district public schools to provide students the opportunity to work with a qualified, engaging tutor who tailors instruction to the needs of two students at a time. SAGA tutoring occurs as a stand-alone class period and is built into the regular school day as an elective course for credit. Fellows guarantee the academic success of students by focusing intently on individualizing instruction and building personal and meaningful relationships with their students.
