Learn how to save a life by getting certified in CPR/AED and First Aid! KITA LLC is a licensed training provider with the American Red Cross; certification is valid for 2 years from the date of training and is emailed to you often within the same day!

**This course requires the completion of an online component PRIOR to the start of the classroom skills session. Learners who choose this course must have a high speed Internet connection to complete the online component (approximately 2 1/2 hours). Instructions to access the online portion will be emailed with registration confirmation. Learners will be required to provide proof of completing online component at the beginning of the classroom skills session. Please see the bottom of the FAQ below for technical requirements.

This course is OSHA compliant and is appropriate for both non-healthcare professionals who require CPR certification or for anyone who wants to learn how to keep their loved ones safe in an emergency situation. Curriculum has recently been updated to incorporate the latest scientific findings and effective learning techniques. Topics include providing care for heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, choking, injuries, and sudden illnesses such as allergic reactions, asthma attacks, diabetic emergencies, and heat exhaustion. Learners should wear comfortable clothing and sensible shoes (no heels please).

Your instructor has been an American Red Cross certified instructor since 2010; she has successfully certified hundreds of learners throughout Southern Nevada and Oahu, maintaining over a 95% Very Satisfied rating in her course evaluations.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking at the Westgate Shopping Center is free; the location is located directly along the following bus routes: 40, 42, 99, 434, A, E, W1. Upon arrival, please take the elevator under the Westgate Center sign to the 2nd floor and turn right. We are located in the Taekwondo studio in suite 204.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

For safety reasons and to maximize learning for all participants, we ask that small children and infants be left at home with a responsible adult. For certification purposes, participants must be able to demonstrate appropriate skills including compressing a mannequin's chest approximately 2 inches. The youngest person this instructor has certiifed was aged 11.

What can I bring into the event?

What's the refund policy?

Refunds are granted up to 24 hours before the class date; any cancellations within 24 hours of class time will require a transfer of registration & payment into a future class.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, as long as the name on the registration matches the name of the learner then the printed ticket is not necessary.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you can update your registration information up to 2 hours in advance of the course date.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you may transfer the registration up until the day of the class. However, please note that the name on the completion certificate for the online component must match the name of the person who appears for the classroom skills session.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

For the fastest processing of certification, it is best if the name on the registration matches the name of the person who attends. If the name does not match, certification for the entire class may be delayed until corrections are made, so as much as possible please include accurate information for the attendees. In addition, please note that the name on the completion certificate for the online component must match the name of the person who appears for the classroom skills session.

I don't have a printer. How do I provide proof that I completed the online portion?

A screen shot of the completion certificate or digital copy will be accepted, provided that the name on the online completion certificate matches the name of the person who appears for the classroom session.
