Want to laugh and learn together this summer? Improv teaches us how to be Spontaneity Superheroes, Killer Communicators, Lifetime Listeners and Professional Players. Through an energetic, creative (and sometimes very silly) set of games and exercises, we'll play and learn together in a safe and supportive environment. It'll be so awesome, we won't even realize there's a Zoom screen between us!

About Shannon Hughes:

Shannon Hughes is experienced in solo performances and play-based training (Enlivened Studios.) She thrives on inspiring connection and aliveness in people through her improv teachings.

She comes to BATS this summer as a coach, after a lifetime of writing and working with theater. She is still an active student with the school and is deeply committed to teaching improv not only as a performance style, but as a way of life.

Shannon’s career background includes 20+ years in corporate marketing, which she left behind in 2018. She’s now committed to teaching, growing her applied improv practice, pursuing her voiceover work and being a Mama to her two young boys. Her solo shows can be found on the Enlivened Studios website and she’s published both on Medium and her blog, “Living Unscripted.”
