Event description

Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative projects that are brought to life through the direct support of others.

Join Kickstarter's Daniel Sharp for a primer on how to bring a Kickstarter project to life. We'll take a look at some successful projects from across the site and explore what kind of rewards work best, how to spread the word about your project, and other helpful tips.

You may attend this online workshop using either a Mac or PC computer (with speakers), standard phone, smart phone, or tablet device.

To participate in the online workshop, please login using Chrome. Firefox and Safari are problemmatic. Make sure your Adobe Flash Player plugin is up-to-date. If it is not, you will be prompted to update it, which will take about a minute.

If you plan to attend via iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, please download and install the app AnyMeeting Attendee Viewer for iPhone.

A strong wifi or hard-wired Internet connection is preferred.

For additional technical questions or issues, please see the Questions? section below.

This online workshop will be recorded. The recording will be shared with all previously registered participants after the workshop concludes, regardless of whether participants attend the live workshop or not. The recording will be posted online indefinitely. It is not available for download.
