Event description
Learn Trauma Informed Yoga with Adrian Molina and Dennis Hunter

About this event

Join Adrian Molina and Dennis Hunter for an online weekend training in how to use therapeutic yoga, movement, sound, mindfulness, and stress reduction techniques to help populations affected by trauma, addiction, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more.

This training will give you the confidence and skills to go to a shelter, prison, hospital or school and make a difference. Open to yoga teachers, meditation instructors, movement specialists, personal trainers, massage therapists, nurses, caregivers or anyone who would like to understand how stress — and more specifically trauma — affects the body and how yoga and mindfulness can help us regulate ourselves.

For those coming from a yoga background, this will bring a new perspective to the practice and expand your knowledge and the reach of your teachings. This course will provide 15 CE hours for members of the Yoga Alliance.

Adrian and Hunter are the founders of The Warrior Flow Foundation, currently offering trauma informed programs at hospitals, shelters, schools, first responders and more.

Dates: Sat & Sun, May, 15 & 16

Saturday Hours: 8:30am ET to 5:30pm ET

Sunday Hours: 8:30am ET to 5:30pm ET

Cost: $300

During this time of unprecedented change, there is a tremendous need to bring yoga and mindfulness to underserved and underestimated communities, and a need for skilled teachers that understand yoga from an informed, conscious and community-based standpoint.

We believe that yoga is for EVERYONE regardless of age, physical ability or socioeconomic status. Our vision is to train and create a network of conscious yoga teachers who serve our local communities and are conduits for change. Scholarships available.

A portion of proceeds from this training will benefit The Warrior Flow Foundation, which ignites social change by bringing trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness, sound therapy, and stress-reduction programs to places where they are most needed, including hospitals, homeless shelters, schools, police stations, hospice settings, and more.
