Course description:

Ansible is an automation and configuration management technology used to provision, deploy, and manage compute infrastructure across cloud, virtual, and physical environments. In this course, students will explore the origins of Ansible, how Ansible approaches automation, and the common use cases for Ansible.

Students will learn about key Ansible concepts, including playbooks, plays, tasks, and modules, and the course will go through step-by-step creation of a playbook to deploy a full application from beginning to end.

This is a 3 hour course, but please allow 3.5 hours for questions or topics that run over.

Prerequisites:

Basic Linux sysadmin skills and an interest in learning Ansible from the ground up.
