Currently, students graduating university are facing a good news-bad news scenario. While the economic climate has proven to be better for recent grads than students graduating in the wake of the Great Recession, 1 in 10 recent grads are working jobs that do not fully utilize their skill set.

TGP students join us abroad to find an experience beyond a normal study abroad that will provide them with the tools and connections to launch their future careers. In this TGP Talk, we will be joined with impact industry expert, Sofia Benmouffok, Senior Consultant at Acre, to uncover how to land your dream job that is maximizing your leadership and professional potential.

Tuesday, December 18 | 1 PM ET

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • What it means to be a leader in the 21st-century workforce

    • How are social impact driven careers evolving?

  • Networking: Why it is important and how to do it right

  • What you need to be doing now to land the career you want

  • How to make your resume stand out

  • Interviews: Landing the first introduction to rocking the final round

  • Impact of Social Media on your career search

*Registered listeners will receive the link to tune-in 24 hours before the event!

Created for students, by students, TGP has introduced a new model for education abroad– driven by a desire to provide purposeful, hands-on industry exposure at a fraction of the time and cost. Our program attracts students and young leaders who are curious about the world, seek opportunities to break out of their comfort zones, and stand out amongst their peers as global citizens.

TGP fuses academic credit, adventure, culture, and service learning to an intensive experience during winter, spring, or summer breaks. Our team is dedicated to progressing the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through experiential education.
