About this event
Bread for the World empowers Christians to work with their elected leaders for just and merciful hunger policy. Our rescheduled 2020 workshop will take place virtually as a Zoom meeting. We are thrilled to welcome Bread for the World's President-elect, Rev. Eugene Cho! Rev. Cho, who currently serves as founding Executive Director of the global anti-poverty group One Day's Wages, was elected as the third President in Bread's history in March 2020, and will assume that post in July. He will share his hopes for his tenure at Bread and the ways that hunger advocacy has been affected by COVID-19. We will also hear about local hunger needs and policy updates affecting us in Southwest Pennsylvania. Sign up here and you will receive a link to join the Zoom meeting. If you have not used Zoom before, you will need to download a simple piece of software prior to the meeting.
