About this event

Online Storytelling Series: An Exploration of Storytelling

This 4-week online course is one part workshop, one part lecture, but all parts storytelling. Through the lens of improvisation, Paper Street Theatre's Artistic Director Dave Morris will take you on a journey through storytelling – from ancient myths to modern day screenplays, from classic fairytales to your own personal life, and everything in between. Simply put, this course will make you a better storyteller and, consequently, a better improviser.

6pm-7:30pm PST | 9pm-10:30pm EST

$130 (+GST) | Online via Zoom (link will be emailed to registrants)

Instructor: Dave Morris

Please note: This class does not focus on improv skills, but some improv excercises will be used in order to help us explore storytelling.

Organizer Paper Street Theatre co

Organizer of Online Storytelling Workshop Series

Under the direction of improviser and storyteller Dave Morris, The Paper Street Theatre co. creates improvisation that feels like theatre. By studying great playwrights, and theatrical styles then performing them with no script, our ensemble sets out to change what people often perceive improvisation to be. Some of what we do may be comedy, but first it will be theatre.
