You’ll join a live Zoom session (or our chosen virtual platform) where you’ll be paired with different participants for short, timed conversations — usually 3–4 minutes each. When time’s up, you’ll automatically rotate to meet your next connection. It’s fast-paced, friendly, and super efficient!

What should I say during each round?

Start with your intro, then ask about your partner’s business. You can share what type of connections you’re looking for or a recent win you’re excited about. Keep it conversational — this is about connection, not a hard pitch.

How long is the event?

Our online speed networking events last about 30 minutes. That includes a quick welcome, several networking rounds, and a few minutes at the end for open conversation and wrap-up.

Do I need my camera on?

Yes, please! Having your camera on helps create a real connection and makes conversations more engaging. Just find a quiet space with good lighting and a smile — you’re all set.

What does it mean if it is after event time and I cannot get in?

Please be prompt. Speed Networking is a fast paced and efficient environment. We have respect for people's time and do not want to interrupt our networking to allow people in after start time. If you miss this one, you can always join a future one.
