Learn the basics of creating monotype, collagraph, thermofax and relief printed images. All of this can be done without a press, using water based, slow drying GOLDEN acrylic paints. These methods create unique results; the pressure of printing creates texture and pattern not possible when painting directly on paper. Several examples & demonstrations will show how these prints can then be used in Collage & which products work best for gluing various weights of paper. Gain a broad understanding of product, material, method, tips & tricks.

Instructor will demonstrate several techniques and answer questions during the workshop. A class summary and images will be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently.
