Jonathan Lewis, Software Engineer at Directangular

Jonathan has a varied background in the arts, entertainment and information technology industries. Jonathan is a graduate of Hack Reactor from which he launched his career in software engineering. Jonathan resides in San Diego, CA where he works as a full stack software engineer at Directangular.

Christopher Angelkos,

Software Engineer at The Home Depot.

Chris is from Panama City, Panama and used to work as a Networking and IT Engineer for the Panama Canal.

In October 2017 he moved to Austin TX and started studying at Hack Reactor to transition his career to JavaScript, he graduated from cohort 23, in January 2017. He enjoys Teaching JS and playing the guitar.


Write JavaScript code while learning key JavaScript concepts in an interactive and friendly learning environment. Beginners welcome!

This online class will kick you off on your journey of learning JavaScript and enable you to join a class of like-minded individuals.

Topics covered:

  • What JavaScript is used for and how it plays an important role in today's ever-evolving technology ecosystem

  • How JavaScript works with web browsers to create interactivity on your favorite websites

  • Fundamental JavaScript concepts like syntax, variables, types, statements, expressions and functions

Who this workshop is for:

This workshop is for learners with little to no JavaScript experience (complete beginners).

Tech requirements:

  • Students will need to have their own laptops! Windows, Mac or Linux will do it!

  • Our preferred web browser is Google Chrome.

  • Have the Zoom Client for Meetings installed.
