Join the Food Safety Doctor LLC for a 2.5 day International HACCP Alliance HACCP/PCQI Certificate of Training.

This online course is a great way for you and your food safety team to receive important food safety training while, silmultaneously, mataining the necessary social distacing practices as our nation works through defeating COVID-19.

During this 20-hour session, participants will take a deep-dive into the seven principles of Hazard Analysis Critical Controls (HACCP) while also addressing the Hazard Analysis and Risk-Based Preventive Controls methodology required under the United States Food and Drugs Administration’s (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (U.S-FSMA). While this course will focus primarily on the seven principles of HACCP, emphasis will also be given to comparing traditional HACCP plans to FDA mandated Food Safety Plans.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Dr. Derrick Payne is an International HACCP Alliance approve instructor, and a Food Safety and Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) Lead Instructor with over 25 years of experience in the development, implementation, and management of regulatory and GFSI compliant global food safety and quality systems at companies like Coca-Cola, Tate & Lyle and Ralston Foods. Among his numerous academic credentials, Dr. Payne also holds a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University and a doctorate in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Walden University with a specialization in foodborne illnesses.

YOU SHOULD ATTEND IF YOU ARE:

  • You would like to supplement your PCQI training with a deeper understanding of traditional HACCP
  • You are already involved with the development, support or implementation of a U.S.-FSMA compliant HACCP/food safety plan
  • Need to meet GFSI HACCP training requirements
  • New to your roles at locations where a U.S.-FSMA-compliant food safety plan will be developed and implemented, and would also like to gain a deeper understanding of the principles of HACCP
  • A food safety auditor or consultant at facilities that process or packages foods or food ingredients for shipment to the United States.

Notes to Participants

  • Although experience in the food industry is NOT required to take this course, it is recommended that participants have some knowledge of the food processing before taking this course.
  • Two-and-a-half day course (All times are Central Daylight Savings Time)
    – Days 1 & 2: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
    – Day 3: 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Small classes (participant–trainer ratio is 15:1
  • Practical exercises
  • A certificate of HACCP training with the International HACCP Alliance Seal
  • Registration: $350.00/ Participant ends April 28, 2020
