A WE CAN LISTEN Production. Presented by TOC in association with Some Serious Business.
TIPPING POINT is a documentary film about the largest civil rights protest in U.S. history and how Portland, Oregon, emerged as its epicenter. Told through the individual stories of Portlanders on the ground, TIPPING POINT humanizes the struggle while allowing Portland's story to serve as a mirror for all of America -- the past that brought us here and the future we choose.
Directed by Jon Meyer. Co-Produced by Julianne R. Johnson.
At WE CAN LISTEN we strive to build community, educate, and share the positive impact that truly listening to diverse voices can have on us all. Through a cultural intersection of storytelling, film, music, poetry, dance and personal expression, we demonstrate that listening can be the most profound action we can take. We open ourselves to other people’s perspectives in their own voices, knowing that we may not always like what we hear.
Presenting partner Some Serious Business advances social and cultural change through multi-platform creative initiatives and productions.
