Learn how to build young children's emotional understanding!

About this event

This class will take place online on Zoom. Please see the FAQ below for more information.

Join Kristin Miller, M. Ed., to learn how to build young kids' emotional understanding!

Creating a learning environment that meets all of the children's emotional needs daily is very important, even before the cognitive learning can take place! This training session teaches core content knowledge in early childhood emotional development, as well as top reasons of why it is important to incorporate emotional activities into our classroom plans daily. You will learn a variety of emotional activity building ideas that showcase how you can help children talk about, express themselves, and learn from their own emotions in an educational classroom setting.

Are your kids happy, sad, angry, disgusted, fearful? Let's talk about it, and find ways to help them. That is what this training session is all about!
