Need help applying what you’ve learned about the Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) approach? Join our new online Community Coaching Groups to expand on your recent CPS-training and practice!

Online Training via Zoom

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • When registering, you are signing up for all 8-online sessions. Each session is one hour.
  • All participants must join via their own device. If joining as a group, each person should be on an individual device.
  • Limited to only 12-spots.

New CPS Online Offering

With Community Coaching you’ll join a small group of other CPS-trainees to discuss how you are applying CPS in your work/home and receive peer feedback and personalized coaching from Think:Kids staff. Community Coaching will help you reach your specific goals in using the model and connect you to a broad community of CPS coaching and support.

Is Community Coaching for me?

This opportunity is open to anyone who has attended a CPS Tier 1 or Tier 2 Training. If you want to advance your understanding of the model and potentially take the next steps toward further training (Tier 2) or becoming Certified in CPS, then Community Coaching is right for you.

About Your Instructor

Heather Johnson, LCSW, is a Clinical Trainer and Consultant for Think:Kids. Heather provides coaching and training to various individuals and organizations seeking to learn CPS and integrate the model within their professional practice and organizations. Heather has served as a Behavior Specialist in McMinnville, OR for 10 years and through this time has developed a particular interest in service to young people with challenging behavior in the school setting. Through this role, Heather provides school-based behavior support to students, consultation and training to school staff, and coordinates with building and district administration regarding policy and practice.

Heather also has a small private practice specializing in services to children and adolescents and their families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Human Development from Wheelock College in Boston, MA and her MSW from the University of New Hampshire.
