Chat Goal: Discuss stragegies for taking care of your own mental health.
Our *caregiver-only* chats are live interactions. Chats are in a text only format -- so, all interactions are done simply by texting and/or typing your responses. Our chats are conducted in a safe environment. Caregivers will access this chat by using MVCN.slack.com Caregiver Channel. The chat is only accessible by registering through the MVCN Online Community.
This chat is for caregivers from all eras. Prior registration is required. It is easy to login in to Slack from your PC or download the Slack application from a mobile device. Just remember that each caregiver must use a preferred email address when you register for access to the Slack application. To request access to the mvcn.slack.com, please fill out the Eventbrite registration or email your preferred email to melissa.comeau@redcross.org If you participated in the last chat you will have continued access to the mvcn.slack.com Caregiver Channel.
During the chat we will refer to resources from the MVCN Online Community. Caregivers can easily sign up to become a member of the free, secure, peer-moderated MVCN Online Community at https://milvetcaregivernetwork.org.
