About this Event

As platform companies, phone companies, advertisers, governments and others surveil all aspects of our online activities and interactions, concerns frequently turn to how individuals and organizations can increase expectations of privacy and anonymity online.

In this interactive learning session, we'll explore different meanings of "privacy" and "anonymity", and discuss several tools to limit who can track you online, including virtual private networks and browser plug-ins. We'll specifically focus on the Tor Browser, which is designed to inhibit all attempts to know your identity or location when you visit web sites.

Come with your questions and ready to learn about how you are watched as you live online and what you can do about it!
