Stress - Insecurity - Violence - Unhappiness
Economic Challenge - Increasing Addictions
All these seem to be our headlines today - from Santa Barbara to Orlando to Rio. It can appear as though there are nothing but problems and either no solutions or too many to choose from.
What if there was ONE solution to all of the above? What if that ONE solution resided in a deep understanding of human resiliency and where it comes from? What if we have been looking in the wrong place for answers?
Do we believe that there are so many answers that we have to search until we find them all then, try them all, struggling all the while?
There IS a simple, easy and effortless understanding that was taught by a regular person – not a PhD or scientist or guru or religious leader.
One Solution Conversations are about exploring the answers to the questions above and finding true Resiliency. This Resiliency is never absent; never needs a technique; and literally, can be experienced by anyone at any time.
“Let your mind be still, for the wisdom that you seek is like that butterfly over yonder. If you try to catch it with your intellect, it will simply fly away. On the other hand, if you can still your mind, someday, when you least expect it, it will land in the palm of your hand.”
About The Understanding
The One Solution conversation is based on the work of Sydney Banks, who uncovered the principles creating human experience in 1972. Since that time, these principles and this understanding have been brought to the following arenas of life, to name a few:
The field of mental health and addiction, with profound healing in places where healing had never been before;
The field of business, where natural innovation and creativity blossomed;
The field of education, where kids and teachers found their innate happiness, stoppingbullying and gang behavior;
The field of community development, ending crime and preventing poverty;
The field of coaching, with deep and lasting resilience for families, relationships, and careers.
Thisis the reason for the One Solution conversation because in all this diversity there is ONE answer.
