Event description

Description

The class is offered in conjunction with Extension's One Seed program. This exciting concept is aimed at engaging the community in a shared, edible-gardening experience! The One Seed campaign allows residents to vote on a selected edible plant variety to grow each year. The selected 2017 variety is... BROCCOLI! The campaign also includes seed distributions, saving and exchanging seeds, group discussions on tips, recipes and more!

Learn to grow fresh, healthy produce in your own backyard! This course, open to the general public, will include advice for successful vegetable gardening in southwest Florida. Advance registration is required. Register early through Eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.
