The event will consist of a short parade through Downtown Portland. The parade will begin at O’Bryant Park located at SW Washington St. (Stark St/9th & Park), travel on SW Broadway, and will end at Pioneer Square where the One Million Strong event will take place throughout the rest of the day. The parade will include colorectal cancer survivors and others affected by this disease marching and riding on two “truck floats” to raise awareness about the importance of being screened for colorectal cancer.
So get your family together or form a team, and come out ALL decked out colorectal cancer "BLUE" gear, and MARCH with us! You are encouraged to make your own parade signs hornoring survivors, and those lost along the way.
