Event description

Description

In support of the Laurence B Smith Scholarship Foundation, Founding Frederick Douglass Academy Student William Terry will return to the stage where it all started. Terry will be performing all original pieces and reviving the stage where he created lasting memories for himself, FDA Alumni, as well as many others over his Academic years. When Terry saw an opportunity to help with a scholarship fund for students at the school that literally saved his life and made him the man he is today, there wasn't a question or doubt of what he had in mind. On stage he touched so many lives and uplifted many more with the teachings and skills learned at FDA, as well as performances around the country. He decided to bring it back home to the beginning for a one night show that will include a tribute to all FDA ALUMNI and Administration we have lost over the years. Terry would also like to recognize the one person that played a pivotal role in saving his life by believing that regardless of your environment you can be anything, Frederick Douglass Academy Founding Principle Dr. Lorraine Monroe

So come out for a night of theater, fun, and reflection and for those that have purchased Terry's book he will personally sign it for you after the show.
