Description

ONE LIFE, NO KNIFE: Keeping young people safe from knife crime

Are you a parent or carer that would like more information on keeping your children safe from the dangers of knife crime? ONE LIFE - NO KNIFE is a special event about knife crime and young people. It will give parents and carers information and support needed to help keep children and young people safe.

The Safer Kensington and Chelsea Partnership and the Local Safeguarding Children Board, and the Police invite you to this free evening event to hear from the services who want to work with you.

Do you want to know more?

This event will be held on:

20th February 2018, 6:00PM – 8:30PM, at St Charles Sixth Form College

  • You will hear from parents and community members who have a personal experience of knife crime

  • You will hear what parents and carers can do to help prevent knife crime

  • You will hear from the Police about the London wide and local impact of knife crime and how they work to keep children and young people safe

  • You will have a chance to hear from local charities, community groups and organisations and find out what support is available for your family and how to access it

We are really keen to hear from you, as parents/carers, about your concerns, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions and share your views with the speakers and organisations.

Refreshments will be available.

This event has been organised with the support and guidance of secondary schools in Kensington & Chelsea.
