Join Cryptic Council Companions from across Minnesota for the 2023 Grand Cryptic Council of Minnesota One Day to Cryptic Council Festival on Saturday, February 25, 2023. The 2022 One Day to Cryptic Council Festival was a tremendous success. And 2023 promises to be even better. The annual Festival is a memorable opportunity for Companions to engage in our gentle craft and welcome new Candidates as they continue their journey in York Rite Masonry.
The Cryptic Council Degrees on February 25th will be presented in full form by Companions and Councils from across Minnesota. This will be a full presentation of the moving and compelling Council Degrees with no abbreviations or shortcuts. As with the Royal Arch Degrees, the Council Degrees explore the history, stories, and legends that were hinted at but not discussed in the Degrees of our Blue Lodge. The significance of the Cryptic Council Degrees is further highlighted when we are reminded that the order in which events happen is seldom the order in which we learn about them.
The exciting Degree work will be presented at the Minneapolis Scottish Rite Masonic Center located at 2011 Dupont Avenue South in Minneapolis and is hosted by Minneapolis Council #2 of Cryptic Masons in Minnesota.
If you are a Companion in Cryptic Council, set aside Saturday, February 25th, and join your fellow Companions and our candidates for an exciting day of fellowship in our gentle craft of Freemasonry. If you are a Royal Arch Mason and wish to continue your journey in York Rite Masonry, reach out to a Companion of the Cryptic Council, and he can get you started with a petition to join a Council. You must submit a petition to a Cryptic Council before you can attend the One Day event on Feb 25th . The closing date for petitions varies depending upon the Council you wish to join, so act now!!
ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for all Candidates and Companions attending the event. A lunch option is available via the registration page if attendees desire to enjoy lunch with other Companions and Candidates.
The cost for lunch is $18.00 per person. (Candidates – your lunch cost is typically paid by your Council.
Check with your Council Sponsor or your Council Recorder / Secretary). Payment at the Door is required in cash or personal check.
A large crowd of Companions and Candidates is anticipated and parking is limited at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Carpooling is encouraged. The suggested attire for Companions and Candidates is a coat and a tie.
