One Day Photography Workshop - Food Photography 101

Food Photography is a beginner’s course designed for all photographers who hope to improve their technical skills while using manual camera settings. The class will reveal simple yet effective techniques to improve candid food photography with any camera, adapt to low light situations, and create easy to make-home studio set-ups.
In this workshop you will learn to create mouth-watering images that look so good, you can practically taste them! This workshop will introduce students to the exciting world of food photography. All areas of food photography will be explored. Beginning in the studio, students will learn simple and effective lighting techniques, along with creating a concept and the importance of styling and picking the right backgrounds and props.
What you need: You must bring your own digital SLR camera (or cell phone with camera application) with adjustable exposure and focus. Also bring your camera manual.
If using your cell phone (iPhone or Android), be sure to install the camera software with manual controls.

A small tripod is highly recommended.
