One City Standing Together
Description
As a part of our One City Forum event series, we are proud to bring you One City Standing Together. Join sf.citi for an informational panel of leaders from the ACLU of Northern California and San Francisco's tech sector to discuss the issues surrounding recent immigration restrictions and ways in which our community can move forward together. Enjoy drinks on us and discuss how tech can stand together to support immigrants.
Helena Price's latest project Banned, a photo and video series of tech workers who have been affected by the immigration ban, will be debuted at our event. These photos include employees from Facebook, Google, Pinterest, and more.
We are excited to have LinkedIn host our event at their offices. Doors will open at 5:30pm and the panel will begin at 6pm. The program includes:
Opening speaker: Nick Tommarello, CEO of Wefunder
Presentation on the Post-Inauguration Immigration Landscape from ACLU of Northern California Senior Staff Attorney, Julia Harumi Mass.

The One City Forum engages sf.citi members and community leaders to convene and discuss issues important to San Franciscans, including affordability, homelessness, and education. Through these regular events, we bring leaders from across sectors to share best practices, ideas, and solutions.
