Organizational Contribution and Fundraiser for Family HEART Camp WV

This Community Weekend is offered as a way to gather our various communities from Peace Circle, Family HEART Camp, Capital NVC, and other regional NVC groups. We hope to sustain our organizers and cover our base costs (snacks, lodging costs, water/port-a-potties, etc.) and raise funds towards Family HEART Camp West Virginia, our local NVC summer camp (June 23-June 30,2017 at Abrams Creek, WV: www.familyheartcamp.org)

CONTRIBUTION REQUESTS: These are per family and we request that you contribute to your most joyful and highest capacity to help us continue organizing these events.

DAY CAMPERS: $20-$50/day

OVERNIGHT CAMPERS: $30-$60/day

TO REGISTER: Get your Tickets below and choose your own contribution pricing. ANY levels of contribution welcome. No one turned away for lack of funds. Email Mali or Robin if you want connection around this. Thank you!

PROGRAMMING / SCHEDULE

PROGRAMMING:

There is no official programming nor staff at this camping trip (unlike Family HEART Camp), and we use Open Space to co-create as a community all sorts of offerings for each other.

Morning/Afternoon:In the spirit of Family HEART Camp/Peace Circle’s Open Space activities, we invite anyone to make offerings of  their talents and joys. Some offerings might include face painting, nature art, peace flag creations, musical opportunities (bring your instruments!), peace garden planting, hula hooping, capture the flag, t-ball/woofle ball, yoga, empathy sessions, and more...

We also invite NVC practitioners to support and offer their hearts in a “Compassion Carnival”. As at camp, we will look at offering NVC-based games and explorations that will support your family to learn and integrate NVC.
