Runtime 75 minutes

Nene, an indigenous Bolivian and his white half brother, Rocky, must get to the Chilean border in 3 days in an oldVW Beetle, journeying through some of the most dangerous yet beautiful parts of Bolivia.

This ultra-micro-budget feature stars two non-professional actors and was shot in 17 days for $6,500 in some ofthe most remote parts of Bolivia.

Once Upon a Time in Bolivia was made and completed against all odds. The independently-financed, no-budgetproduction was a collaborative effort between a small cast and crew who all worked, risking life and limb and facingmany challenges during the shoot, including death threats, verbal & physical attacks, illness and extreme weather conditions.
