On the Road with MOWA (NEW!)
On the Road with MOWA connects our members to locales, activities, restaurants, and art throughout Wisconsin. From architecture explorations to brewery tours, MOWA is expanding its reach to stops along the state’s highways and byways. Travel with the museum’s education staff on these one-day excursions whose itineraries focus on activities that reveal a shared Wisconsin cultural heritage.
Pottery, Pints, and a Picnic, Lake Mills

Join MOWA in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, nestled on the eastern shore of Rock Lake. Known for its sparkling waters, artisan shops, and local brewery, quaint Lake Mills is the perfect Wisconsin village. The tour begins inside Ephraim Pottery Studios where an artist will demonstrate how to turn clay into extraordinary Ephraim pottery. MOWA members will have the opportunity to shop in the store and other nearby boutiques before venturing to Tyranena Brewery. The excursion ends with a tour of Tyranena Brewery and a visit to the tasting room to savor Tyranena’s best.
