The On the Road Collaborative Emerging Chefs Farm to Table Fundraising Dinner is the culminating showcase event to our 10-week Emerging Chefs enrichment project.
This group of 16 middle school youth from the On the Road Collaborative after school program at Skyline Middle School have been learning the ins and outs of local foods and infusing global recipes with local ingredients. Youth have been introduced to food service skills ranging from cooking techniques to food presentation to serving to hosting.
The Fundraising Dinner:
Our Emerging Chefs will be hosting a five course meal for 40 special guests at The Little Grill. The entire dinner and restaurant will have a winter theme and the menu will include many seasonal winter items. The youth will lead the entire dinner from start to finish, including preparing the food, hosting, plating, serving and even washing the dishes. This is going to be a special night that you are sure to enjoy while supporting some incredible young people.
This is a youth-led fundraising dinner to support On the Road Collaborative and the Emerging Chefs program. A donation of at least $25 is required to reserve your ticket. Space is limited so reserve your tickets today.
