On the Frontier
CalArts Center for New Performance presents an actor’s workshop adaptation of On the Frontier, a 1939 play by W.H Auden and Christopher Isherwood. On the Frontier details the complex relationships between two fictional countries (Ostnia and Westland) and two parallel families that exist, develop and communicate within the same space. Only the youngest of the group, the contrasting son and daughter, understand and respond to each other’s presence.
