Event Details

This is an on-line permaculture design course taught by Alaskans for Alaskans. Living sustainably in Alaska has happened for 10,000 years.  It is time to continue that tradition and learn to live with nature in Alaska.  This course reminds us of what our grandparents and ancestors knew already, we must live in relationship with all of the earth.

At the end of this course students will be able to confidently design their own land or a piece of their community's land that will demonstrate a new/old way of living lightly on the planet.

Students will be expected to download and upload video, as well as pictures, so there must be a fairly good internet connection.  There will be several things that need to be built, so there will be some additional costs for those things as well as for a text book.  Each student will need to create a free wordpress blog (which will be the first assignment) to post his/her permaculture assignments.

*If you are interested in receiving 500 level course credit from APU for an additional fee, contact Cindee.
