Death & Loss Specialist

Death is one of life’s major passages. Since few of us know when it will happen, this series is for all of us. Sessions include film, discussion, thought-inspiring activities and practical suggestions to help us acknowledge our fears, take stock of life, plan for the future.

Sunday October 1, 2pm: Facing Death

Screening the film Facing Death . . . with open eyes. Beliefs, feelings, and concerns about dying our worst and best-case scenarios.

Sunday October 8, 2pm: Life Review

An illuminating exercise of reflection and an opportunity to appreciate the unfolding of one’s journey.

Sunday October 15, 2pm: The Art of Forgiveness

Forgiveness and forgiving: how to release unfulfilled dreams, old wounds and past mistakes.

Sunday October 22, 2pm: Leaving a Legacy of Love

Whether it is property, keepsakes or wisdom, learn the rules of legacy with legal documents such as a living trust to reduce conflict and promote appreciation among those you leave behind.

Sunday October 29, 2pm: Natural Death Care

Discover benefits of personalizing death through natural death care, home vigils, green
cremation and burial options.

Sunday November 12, 2pm: What’s Next: Getting Curious

Screening the film The Heart of Grieving. Exploring the mystery, magic and the mundane of death and its aftermath.
